Nissan Motor Co. reported April 26 that group net profit fell 11%, to ¥460.7 billion. This is the first profit decline under CEO Carlos Ghosn. The decline was the result of sluggish sales and weary workers under his result-oriented management style. Therefore, last week's announcement may prompt calls for him to reconsider the approach.
Nissan has the mew strategy. This plan is to introduce three inexpensive passenger vehicles for emerging markets, such as Brazil and Russia. The 1-liter-class cars will sell for under $3000. But, I think it dangerous. If the price of cars is compulsory higer and higer, the safety of it will be lower and lower.Consequsntly the price will be twice if the accident happens and the rerecall is called for.
However, he outlined plans to use these cars to attract young people to use these cars to attract young custmers to the Nissan brand and then keep them when they are older and wealthier by introdusing more lixurious models.
